So my friend Amanda and I packed our bags and headed to the warmth of St. George. We left early Friday morning and got to our condo at about 2:00 and 55 degrees!! We then went shopping for scrapbook supplies and food!! We began scrapbooking until about 1 a.m. The next morning we woke up bright and early and headed out to the Parade of Homes!! Hello...these homes are amazing!! 
We hit 16 out of the 26 homes with my parents, they are such troopers!! My favorite is the one with the two lane bowling alley in the basement along with at least 25 pinball machines...and mind you the house was 22,000 square feet and is owned by a 29 year old...what have I done wrong...oh ya...I work for the State of Utah!!We were out all day on Saturday and then my parents, Amanda and I went to dinner at the Outback, YUMMO!! ...and back to the condo for more scrapbooking and a some hot tub time!! I am sure everyone in the pool area could tell Amanda and I were exhausted!! We scrapbooked again until 1 a.m. Sunday we woke up and started scrapbooking again, but decided it was too nice of a day to stay in...so we went to eat at Cafe Rio and sat in the sun!! We went shopping for a bit and then again back to scrapbooking...hello I was two years behind!! We stayed up until 1 a.m. again!
That weekend I caught up on my scrapbooking, got to see some beautiful houses, watched 8 movies, and talked a ton with Amanda! She is an awesome friend. We went home on Monday, but not without stopping and the yummy "Egg and I" where Amanda treated me to a birthday breakfast!!
When I got home, my kids had made me a cute birthday cake. Mark had bought a "GIGANTIC" driver golf club...really I swear it is bigger than my head!! And he had all of our friends and family send text messages to me, I had 25 in all...what a sweetheart!!
I LOVE BIRTHDAYS!! ...and believe me it's still February and I still have plans to go out and celebrate!! I for some reason hate when March hits...I wonder why!!!
